MegaLED was approached at very short notice to supply a LED Light Control system to power and colour change a few special LED-edge lit or light guide “neon tubes” for The Pixel Addicts (now known as “Immersive”).

The project used our flagship constant current DMX75 PowerLED stack system, we delivered 125channels of light (used 123 channels, driving 41 RGB Clusters). The DMX LED Control system was custom built as we did custom output driving currents for 130mA mid-power-range leds from OSRAM which illuminated some solid PMMA Light Guides or “Neon Tubes”.

The project also featured a backdrop of RGB LED Pixels crafted and specified by one of IMMERSIVE’s technical lighting friends.

Asides MegaLED’s LED lighting control, what you’re seeing here (in the video’s) is IMMERSIVE’S amazingly radical talent to have images projected onto “mapped” surfaces, therefore with lighting and video we can create all sorts of fast moving Display & Video effects.

All in all just another brick in our LED project portfolio. Good job people!

FYI: Pixel Addicts / Immersives media server costs a cool 10K+,
it does amazing things and can interface with almost anything.
