The curent MEGALED verdict: This is an absolutely amazing "MEGA-LED" even if the lumen-maintenance requires some consideration in your designs. This is a clever multi-chip LED package which is easy to work with and bound to improve. We see this Power LED package being accepted by light designers and lighting companies who want to design compact fixtures in a very small footprint with seriously high lumen output. This LED is not "cheap", but does offer a very high value in terms of cost/lumens or lumens/package size. Overall this is an absolutely amazing package.
